Atlantic Provinces Library Association Conference

13-15 MAY 2010 at the Saint John Trade and Convention Centre

It has been said that the only constant in life is change. Librarians and information professionals know this perhaps better than anyone else.  In the past decade alone, we have seen tremendous changes to the way people access and interact with information.  Libraries have adapted, and continue to adapt, to the changes in innovative ways, while still preserving the deeply-valued services and resources they have always offered to their users.

At APLA 2010, we want to celebrate both our past achievements and the opportunities of the ever-changing present.

This is why Riding The Tide: Adapting and Thriving in a Sea of Change has been chosen as the theme of our conference.

John Teskey, president of CLA and Director of UNB Libraries, will be the keynote speaker.
